Inaugural National Service Conference 2025
What a historic morning it was yesterday as we gathered AS ONE to seek God’s heart for our Singapore’s Shalom!
The theme of this first ever NS Conference was: “Loving God, Loving People, Making Disciples, Bringing Shalom to the Nation”, premised on Hebrews 12:2 to fix our eyes on Jesus as the Pioneer and Perfector of our faith!
In MCF, our vision is clear: “Every Christian Soldier Is A Brother First, And A Light Before Men always.” We witnessed how God has been moving through camp fellowships, Pre NS camps, Prayer Gatherings, the Detention Barracks ministry, and everyday acts of being “salt and light” (Matthew 5:13-14).
We are deeply grateful for our speakers, Mr Jason Wong, Ps Darren Tan, and Rev Ng Zhiwen who shared powerful insights that anchored the conference.
The conference marked a new wave of collaboration, discipleship and kingdom impact. We were exhorted to reflect the Father’s love, walk in Jesus’ likeness, and follow the Holy Spirit’/ leading in every sphere of National Service. And we were wonderfully led in worship by the team. Our Emcees did a wonderful job too, alongside all our skills and passionate facilitators for the break-out rooms! Kudos also to all who have served and contributed behind the scenes to make this milestone event happen.
We also want to appreciate our partners (Alpha Singapore, The Gideons, OneforJesus and Our Daily Bread) for blessing everyone with Bibles, devotionals and other various discipleship resources. We were also blessed by Fairfield Methodist Church where the conference was held.
Thank you to all who partnered with us in prayer, service and giving as we continue raising a resilient community of faith across NS!
