THE MCF LOGO
The MCF logo has its significance as represented by the following elements:
THE SHIELD
The Shield represents defence. In Biblical terms, it is the Shield of Faith which can be used to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil ones. The colour chosen for the shield is RED which symbolises the blood of Christ.
MCF
The initials of Military Christian Fellowship.
CROSS
The cross represents the spiritual battle of which Christians are called to fight. The battle has already begun from the beginning and won in Christ. Our duty is to claim by faith in Christ.
SWORD
The Sword represents authority and fighting capabilities which in Biblical terms is the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. The design of the sword incorporates the initial of its original name, Armed Forces Committee (AFC) and it is kept to this day.
SINGAPORE
The word “SINGAPORE” represents our unique position in relation to the other MCFs worldwide.
STANDARDS
In order to give significance to the name of MCF and its LOGO, the Council has decided to use the colour Red (Pentone Red 32) for its LOGO and Royal Blue for its background as depicted in the picture on the left with the MCF motto.
